Saints in Heaven celebrates the lives and accomplishments of people who were elevated to sainthood by sharing information and original photography.

This is more than a Catholic tradition. It is a historical and cultural perspective on special people who made contributions to faith, religious freedom and humanity. And the marvelous religious art that was created to commemorate them.

About the Saints

Catholic saints represent people who led exemplary lives in service to God and the church. Many of them lost their lives in service to God. They include Mary and her son Jesus, his apostles, popes and other religious figures, and simple people who dedicated their lives in service.

Saints are not worshiped as gods or idols as some uninformed people think. Instead, they are revered and remembered for their lives, sacrifices and accomplishments.

Many people pray to a saint, as you might pray to a guardian angel or other deceased loved one for a favor, intercession or protection.

We enjoy researching and learning more about the saints, and especially seeing the marvelous art created to honor them. We hope that you enjoy it too.
